This is a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would like access to the following information:
In this table, you provided a breakdown of ethnic groups by religion based on the 2011 census data. I am only interested in the number of white people (broken down into sub-groups) that identify as Muslim.
Please could you provide this breakdown with 2021 census data.

This information is freely available and can be accessed by creating your own table using the Create a custom dataset tool.
Please see the following instructions to find the data you require:
- Click on the link Create a custom dataset
- Click on the usual residents option
- Click area type - select the geography you are interested in e.g. England and Wales.
- Click 'add variables' and 'browse available variables'
- Select ethnic group and religion
- Click on 'get the data' and choose the format you require
