You asked

I would like to request the statistics on 'Drink spiking' or 'Drugs of Facilitated Sexual Assaults' against males in the UK for the past 10 years. I would also like the age information of the victim, the outcome of these crimes and the location in the UK.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately, we do not hold any information on male victims of sexual assault who's drink were spiked.

Alongside our publication Sexual offending: victimisation and the path through the criminal justice system, we publish appendix tables from the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) data where we collect some information on whether the victim of rape or assault (by penetration) was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Table 27 in this suite of tables provides this information broken down by sex and table 28 provides this information broken down by relationship to the offender. We do not publish any further breakdowns of this data by either age or geography.

Information on outcomes of sexual offences can be found in the accompanying Ministry of Justice (MOJ) appendix tables. However, they do not provide a breakdown of the outcomes of sexual offences where drink spiking was involved, only overall offences. For more information regarding court statistics you can contact the MOJ directly at the following email address: ESD@justice.gov.uk

These data only cover England and Wales. Information on crime in Scotland can be found here, and information on crime in Northern Ireland can be found here.

If you have any crime-related queries in the future, you can email crimestatistics@ons.gov.uk and we will endeavour to help.
