You asked
I am looking for information and statistics correlating domestic violence victims and perpetrators with their social class.

Thank you for your request relating to the social class of victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. Unfortunately we do not hold data specifically on social class, but have provided some information below that may be helpful to you.
We publish a chapter on domestic abuse, sexual assault and stalking alongside the ‘Focus on Violent Crime and Sexual Offences’ publication. The most recent version of which, Focus on Violent Crime and Sexual Offences: year ending March 2016, can be found here:
Appendix tables 4.10 and 4.11 published alongside this release provide data from the self-completion section of the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) on the percentage of adults aged 16 to 59 who were victims of domestic abuse in the last year by household and personal characteristics. These tables provide a demographic break down of victims by characteristics such as, employment status, occupation and household income. You can access these tables here:
Please note, domestic abuse in the CSEW combines partner abuse (non-sexual), family abuse (non-sexual) and sexual assault or stalking carried out by a current or former partner or other family member. It is not limited to physical violence and can include repeated patterns of abusive behaviour in order to maintain power and control in a relationship. Domestic violence has a narrower definition; it excludes non-physical abuse and threats.
We do not hold data on the perpetrators of crime. The Ministry of Justice may be able to help you with your request; they can be contacted at statistics.enquiries@justice.gsi.gov.uk.
If you would like any further information or have any further questions, please contact us at CrimeStatistics@ons.gov.uk and we will endeavour to help.
