You asked

I would like to know, using 2011 Census data, the average distance travelled by commuters using motor vehicles on a working day, in Spelthorne, one of our borough councils.

I have searched your website and have only found categorical data, for example 20059 drivers between 0 and 10km, 6954 between 10 and 30km. Would there be anything more specific?

Thank you for your request.

The extract from 2011 Census table DC7701EWla (downloaded from Nomis) - Method of travel to work (2001 specification) by distance travelled to work for Spelthorne, shows those people commuting by car (as driver or passenger) to work, in eight separate distance categories. Both the modal and the median distance category is 5-10 Kilometre.
