Thank you for your enquiry.

We have published Pre-existing conditions of people who died due to COVID-19, England and Wales - Office for National Statistics which provides deaths from January 2020 to December 2020 by two age groups in the dataset in table 2. This is the latest data available.

Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) data for 2021 data is available in table 2 of the publication.

Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with further disaggregation of COVID-19 deaths by age group with no-preexisting conditions.  To fulfil this request, we would need to create a bespoke analysis or table. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.

Infection data with pre-existing conditions.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to this data. NHS Digital may be better placed to answer your enquiry. They can be contacted via email at enquiries@nhsdigital.nhs.uk.
