You asked

I was invited to participate in a follow-up to the Shape Tomorrow study and I was disappointed to see that it's being run on the same inaccessible platform that I wrote to you about before, with no changes to the accessibility statement which still inaccurately says that "the online questionnaire is compatible with screen readers".

Has the DAC audit taken place yet, and if so please could you provide me with a copy of the report?

Thank you for your enquiry.

The Shape Tomorrow Study is currently undergoing Digital Accessibility Testing (DAC). The findings of this report will help to inform the changes that are required to make the online survey as accessible and inclusive as possible.

The Digital Accessibility Testing report is currently ongoing and will be released to us at the ONS only once these are complete, however, once received we will provide a roadmap that annotates the steps we will take to meet the findings of the report. This roadmap will be published and available via a link held within the accessibility statement within the footer of the Shape Tomorrow Study Login page.

In parallel to the Digital Accessibility Testing activities, the accessibility statement within the footer of the Shape Tomorrow Study Login page is being updated to be representative of the current status of the Shape Tomorrow Study. We will have implemented this change no later than Week Commencing 19 December 2022.
