Please can you provide the names and dates of birth and postcode of last address of all the people who have committed suicide in the last 5 years.

We are not able to provide names, dates of birth or address information about any individual from the data we receive on death registrations as this is considered personal information. Under s.39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act (SRSA) 2007, personal information held by us, must not be disclosed. Because the release of this information is prohibited by another enactment, s.44 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 applies.
You can apply for aggregate breakdowns by variables such as age and local authority district. There may be a charge for the work needed to produce the data, depending on the complexity of your request. You can get further information from mortality@ons.gov.uk.
