Thank you for your enquiry.
We are responsible for publishing mortality statistics for deaths registered in England and Wales, using the information supplied on the death certificate. The most recent year for which mortality statistics are available is 2017.
Cause of death is coded using Version 10 of the International classification of diseases (ICD-10). Deaths with an underlying cause of sleep apnoea would be assigned the ICD-10 code G47.3 https://icd.who.int/browse10/2014/en#/G47.3
You can access information on number of deaths from sleep apnoea through NOMIS, our explorable dataset: https://www.nomisweb.co.uk/query/construct/summary.asp?mode=construct&version=0&dataset=161
This dataset provides mortality statistics for England and Wales, broken down by calendar year of registration, age, sex, underlying cause of death and area of usual residence of the deceased.
We may be able to create exactly what you have requested, or something similar, as a bespoke analysis.
