In the dataset called 'Death registered weekly in England and Wales, provisional', there is a tab called 'Weekly figures by cause'. Row 11 is for 'Deaths involving respiratory disease (any mention on the death certificate). Up to week 26 of 2021, there are a total of 101,120 mentions.
Please can you provide the same figures for the years 2013 to 2020?
Annual figures for 2013 through to 2020 will suffice, if weekly or monthly figures are not readily available.
To clarify, I am solely requesting data for:
Diseases of the respiratory system (J00-J99): Deaths involving respiratory disease (any mention on the death certificate) --
I am NOT requesting data for:
-- underlying cause--
or
--leading cause--
because this information is already published on Nomis and you have shared this before (your reference FOI/2021/1473)

Unfortunately, we do not hold analysis showing annual or weekly mortality data with respiratory disease mentioned anywhere on the death certificate from 2013 to 2020.
To fulfil this request, we would need to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information to respond to FOI requests.
