I would be grateful if you could provide me with:

We said
Thank you for your request.
We have published the number of deaths due to suicide by occupation of the deceased for deaths registered in the years 2011 to 2020, 2020 to 2022, and 2023 to 2024.
The three digit occupation code (minor group), 241 refers to legal professionals and includes solicitors, barristers and other legal professionals. Further breakdowns at four-digit occupation code (unit group) can also be found in 2412, 2413, and 2419.
We have not produced these data prior to 2011. However, information on deaths due to suicide by occupation for deaths registered between 2000 and 2010, along with other special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order, subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs in line with our Charging Policy. Please note, we can also provide the number of suicides of retired persons, but we cannot identify those who have retired from the legal profession. The information relating to occupation on the death certificate provides either the occupation code or states if the person was retired.
