Please provide the number of people who have died from Flu, Strokes, Heart Attacks, Cancer, Suicides, Lung Disease, Liver Disease from Jan 2019 until Dec 2019 and other illnesses not related to COVID-19 as COVID-19 didn’t (Appear) until March 2020?

Please see the Suicides in England and Wales: 2019 registrations publication. This provides registered deaths in England and Wales from suicide analysed by sex, age, area of usual residence of the deceased and suicide method. In 2019, there were 5,691 suicides registered in England and Wales.
The other requested causes of death for 2019 can be obtained through the following link to our Nomis web service.
Please see the following table, which has been extracted from NOMIS using codes defined by the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10) using leading causes:
- LC02 Cancer
- LC16 for Cirrhosis and other disease of the liver
And ICD10 codes for:
- Stroke I60-164.
