You asked
Please supply information on deaths from COVID-19 in Scotland. How many deaths have been recorded in Scotland where COVID-19 has been the only cause of death? Please supply the figures from the first COVID-19 ONLY death recorded to the most recent record you have on file.
Deaths WITH COVID-19 are not what I am looking for. I request the information where the only cause of death has been COVID-19.

We are responsible for the production of Mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from the death certificate at death registration. National Records Scotland (NRS) are responsible for statistics pertaining to Scotland and can be contacted at foi@nrscotland.gov.uk.
We do however report headline figures for deaths involving COVID-19 in Scotland in our Deaths Registered Weekly in England and Wales publication. This publication includes deaths where COVID-19 is either the underlying cause of death or a contributory mention. This publication is updated every Tuesday.
