2) Supply the statistics for the number of death figures for in-patients who tested positive and died primarily of COVID-19 within Shropshire NHS Trust hospitals for 2020.
3) Supply the statistics for the number of death figures for in-patients who tested positive and died primarily of COVID-19 within Shropshire NHS Trust hospitals for 2021.
4) Supply the statistics for the number of Medical Death Certificates issued for in-patients who tested positive and died primarily of COVID-19 within Shropshire NHS Trust hospitals in 2020.
5) Supply the statistics for the number of Medical Death Certificates issued for in-patients who tested positive and died primarily of COVID-19 within Shropshire NHS Trust hospitals in 2021.

ONS data is supplied by the General Registry Office using information taken from the death registration process. We do not receive mortality data from NHS Trusts boards in England or Wales.
COVID-19 deaths by NHS trust
Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with COVID-19 deaths for Shropshire NHS trust in 2020 and 2021. In order to fulfil this request, we would need to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
However, we do produce mortality statistics by place of occurrence and local authority in our Death registrations and occurrences by local authority and place of death - Office for National Statistics data set. This will show you weekly deaths by place of occurrence (Hospital) and by local authority, but not by NHS trust.
MCCD certificates by NHS trust
