You asked

How many people have died of covid-19 under the age of 65 between February (start of testing ) and February this year (or to latest date of data available)?

What is the % of number of deaths compared with people testing testing positive for the same age group?

If you can break that down by age category that would be good too or point me to the part of the website with the data.

Thank you for your enquiry.

We hold the percentage of those testing positive for COVID-19 by age/school year and non-overlapping 14-day periods (weighted) in England from the ONS Covid Infection Survey (CIS). This can be found in tab 1h in the data tables of our weekly bulletin. However, please note that Public Health England (PHE) are responsible for national testing and therefore would be better placed to provide you with age-disaggregated data on COVID-19 tests that would be more suitable to compare to death statistics.

Our mortality data is derived from information provided from the death certificate.  Within our Deaths Registered Weekly in England and Wales data sets, we publish COVID-19 deaths by 5-year age group.

From the above publication, we have provided a total number of deaths in 5-year age groups under age 65 from February 2020 to the latest available week.

Weekly provisional figures on deaths registered where coronavirus (COVID-19) was mentioned on the death certificate in England and Wales, February 2020 to 9 March 2021:
