COVID-19 deaths and pre-existing conditions

We hold analysis showing deaths from COVID-19 with no pre-existing conditions for each quarter of 2020 and 2021 so far in Table 2 of the following publication: Pre-existing conditions of people who died due to COVID-19, England and Wales - Office for National Statistics. Quarter 2 will be published shortly. Once we have finalised these plans a publication date will be announced on our Release Calendar.

We do not hold this analysis broken down on a monthly basis. In order to fulfil this request, we would need to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
