a) Size of household by ethnic group
b) Number of dependent children (under 18 years) in household by ethnic group
c) Average family size and number of dependent children with at least one adult receiving benefits by ethnic group

a) We have published a user requested data table showing the Estimated number of people in households by household size and ethnicity, England, 2018 based on data from the Labour Force Survey.

b) We do not hold analysis showing the information requested about the number of children in households by ethnic group. In order to provide this analysis, we would need to create bespoke analysis, which we are not obligated to do under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We therefore consider this to be information not held. However, the information you have requested may be available to commission as bespoke analysis. Such services would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources and agreement of costs. If you would like to request this bespoke dataset, please contact health.data@ons.gov.uk to discuss your enquiry further. Please note, there may be a charge for this work which would be subject to our charging policy.
c) Unfortunately, we do not hold data on people in receipt of benefits. The Department for Work and Pensions may be able to help you with this part of your request.
