I would like:

2) The number of accidents in speed camera areas and the causes of such accidents from police (or insurance) investigations for the last 2 decades.

3) Speed offences for the last 2 decades per week (or month) for each county area.

4) Number of accidents involving vehicles caught speeding within 10minutes of camera triggering because of speeding on the same stretch of road per county area for the last 10 years.

5) Revenue taken from automated speed cameras per county area for the last 2 decades.

6) The cost of speed camera installations to the tax payer each year per county area for the last 2 decades. In addition, the cost to the tax payer for the installation of average speed cameras per county area each year for the last 10 years.

7) The ratio of police giving warnings due to speeding vs the police giving a fixed penalty notice for the last 2 decades.

8) The police delivery of cash-able and non-cashable efficiency targets relating to speed offences for the last 2 decades, per year, per county area; including their scheduled targets for the same period and recommendations given to meet or surpass them.

9) Are there any additional financial intensives from government (or private interests) for the police to meet KPI's relating to cash-able and non-cashable offences, such as speeding.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately, we don't hold the data requested.

The Home Office holds some data about driving offences, broken down by Police Force Areas and Community Safety Partnerships which might be of help. These can be found in the Police recorded crime and outcomes open data tables. They are also contactable by e-mail on CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk and may be able to help you further with your request.

The Department for Transport also publishes data on road traffic accidents and may be able to help with your request as well.
