Please provide information on how long it took to complete the data linkage process for Estimating suicide among higher education students, England and Wales: Experimental Statistics: 2017 to 2020.

We do not hold any recorded information showing exactly how long it took to undertake the linkage required for previous versions of the suicides by higher education institution.
However, we do hold a roadmap showing how long our teams anticipated it would take. This shows a predicted time of 1 week to complete the data linkage process. This plan also predicts a further 8 weeks of time, which we estimated would be required to conduct other tasks required in the production of the data. This includes the exploration of the data, deduplication of the HESA data, a review and refining of methods, documentation of the processes, a quality review, and a quality assurance of the code used to produce the information.
