Please provide daily COVID-19 figures for England, broken down into regions, such as South-East, North-East, etc. or even by counties and London boroughs.
Currently the regional data only states the total new cases and deaths since the crisis began, and doesn't report on the current situation in those areas.

Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with daily COVID-19 figures for England, broken down into regions. In order to fulfil this request, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create bespoke analysis for you. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.

This provides provisional counts of the number of deaths registered in England and Wales, by age, sex and region, in the latest weeks for which data are available. This includes the most up-to-date figures available for deaths involving the coronavirus (COVID-19). This will provide the data at regional level, but on a week-by-week basis.
Please also see the following publication: Death registrations and occurrences by local authority and health board. This provides provisional counts of the number of deaths registered in England and Wales, including deaths involving the coronavirus (COVID-19), by local authority, health board and place of death in the latest weeks for which data are available. This will provide the data at borough level, but on a weekly basis.
