The number of burglaries reported to the police per day, by county, in the UK (or England and Wales if UK-wide data is not available) for the period 1 January – 31 December 2023.

We are responsible for collating and publishing statistics for England and Wales. Scottish Government are responsible for publishing crime statistics for Scotland. The Police Service for Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency are responsible for publishing crime statistics for Northern Ireland.
We publish burglary data by Police Force Area (PFA) in Tables P1 to P4 of our Crime in England and Wales: Police Force Area data tables. Data in these tables are annual and the most recent data is for the year ending September 2023.
The Home Office are responsible for collecting and publishing police recorded crime data. They publish quarterly police recorded burglary offences by PFA from the year ending March 2013 to the year ending September 2023 in their Police recorded crime open data Police Force Area tables, year ending March 2013 onwards tables.
Unfortunately, neither the ONS nor Home Office publish daily burglary data. However, Home Office may be able to help you further with your request and can be contacted by email: CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk
