Thank you for your enquiry.

We publish figures on the levels and trends of crime in England and Wales, primarily based on two sets of crime statistics: The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and police recorded crime data. Trends in CSEW crime experienced by both adults and children aged 10 to 15, and Home Office police recorded crime, by offence type can be found in our Crime in England and Wales: Appendix tables, year ending March 2020.

Children aged 10 to 15:

For children aged 10 to 15 we also publish a number of additional datasets including tables on the Nature of crime. Data include when and where incidents happened, information about offenders, the victim's perception of the incident, and who they reported the incident to. These data can be found on the ONS website:

Nature of crime tables, children aged 10 to 15 years violence

Nature of crime tables, children aged 10 to 15 years theft

Nature of crime tables, children aged 10 to 15 years criminal damage

Our recent publication on Children's online behaviour in England and Wales 2020, and the corresponding appendix tables, may also be of interest as well as our previous publication on Child abuse in England and Wales.

We also released a publication on Childhood vulnerability to victimisation in England and Wales: year ending March 2017 to year ending March 2019, and accompanying Childhood vulnerability to victimisation in England and Wales: year ending March 2017 to year ending March 2019 - Appendix tables, which contain data on the victimisation and negative behaviours of children aged 10 to 15 years living in a household with an adult who reported experiencing domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental ill-health.

Adults aged 16 and over:

Our latest publication on the Nature of violent crime in England and Wales, year ending March 2020 includes a section broken down by age and other personal characteristics which may be of interest. The accompanying Nature of violent crime: appendix tables include data on violent crime numbers, prevalence and location using annual data from the CSEW, Home Office Data Hub and police recorded crime.

We also publish a number of topic specific releases including domestic abuse, sexual offences and homicide, which all contain data broken down by age group.
