Thank you for your request.

ONS Crime and Justice data

The ONS Crime, Income, and Wealth Division publish crime statistics from two main sources: The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and crimes recorded by the police. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the face-to-face CSEW was temporarily suspended on 17 March 2020. A telephone-operated version of the CSEW (TCSEW) was designed to allow us to continue measuring crime during this period while face-to-face interviewing was not possible.

Our publication Crime in England and Wales: year ending December 2021 contains data on crimes experienced by adults and households measured by the Telephone-operated Crime Survey for England and Wales (TCSEW) and police recorded crime from January 2021 to December 2021. We publish Crime in England and Wales statistical bulletins using this data on a quarterly basis.

You can access the CSEW and TCSEW datasets via the UK Data Service. Guidance on how to access the data can be found on the UK Data Service website

As well as using Census data to tell us about migration and the migrant population in England and Wales, we publish UK level estimates of international migration from 2018-2022, which use a combination of administrative data sources this is available in Long-term international migration, provisional - Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk).
