Could you also clarify your terminology?
If you have classed someone as UNVACCINATED, does that mean they have had no jabs at all -- whatsoever (as in, they have declined to be part of the trials)?
Or could that mean that they aren't *fully vaccinated* as they aren't completely up to date with ALL jabs, 1, 2, 3 + however many boosters they would have been expected to have by now?

ONS are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from death certificates at death registration.
ONS publish all cause deaths in our weekly deaths dataset, please see rows 9 and 11 of the 'weekly figures' tab in the 2021 edition.

For deaths involving COVID-19, please see row 9 of the 'Covid-19 -- weekly registrations' tab in our weekly deaths dataset. These figures are for deaths where COVID-19 was recorded as the underlying cause or mentioned as a contributing factor.

Please see this data extract which historically was included in figure 2 our Deaths registered weekly bulletin. Column G of this dataset show deaths where COVID-19 was listed as the underlying cause of death.
This data was available up until week 26 of 2021, following this, it was then included as part of the weekly death's dataset.
You can view these figures for 2021 in row 20 of the 'weekly figures by cause' tab.

ONS have produced analysis on deaths involving COVID-19 or all cause deaths after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination. Deaths by vaccination status, England is an analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status that occurred between 1 January and 24th September 2021 in England.
The definitions used in this dataset are as follows and can be found on the 'definitions' tab:
- Unvaccinated
- Vaccinated with 1 dose only, date of death/last day of week is less than 21 days after vaccination
- Vaccinated with 1 dose only, date of death/last day of week is at least 21 days after vaccination
- Vaccinated with 2 doses, date of death/last day of week is less than 21 days after second vaccination
- Vaccinated with 2 doses, date of death/last day of week is at least 21 days after second vaccination
An unvaccinated person would not have received any dose of a vaccine.
