I would like to know the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine-related deaths or strokes during the last 12 months.

We hold the following analysis: Monthly mortality analysis, England and Wales.
Table 14 provides the number of deaths with ICD-10 codes related to COVID-19 mentioned on the death certificate, by ICD-10 code.
Table 15 provides the number of deaths involving COVID-19 vaccines causing adverse effects in therapeutic use, and provides a 10 year age group breakdown.
Further details of the ICD classification codes used in the table can be found in the definitions sheet.

COVID-19 vaccine related incidence of stroke
We do not hold data relating to the incidence of stroke after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination.
However, the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority publish the Yellow Card Scheme which records self-reported adverse reactions to vaccinations. For further information on the Yellow Card scheme, please contact the on info@mhra.gov.uk.
