I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.
Were there any reported cases of Covid-19 outbreaks or active outbreaks, in any of the nursing homes or care homes of all types, in the Greater Manchester area including its 10 metropolitan boroughs, from 15th of March 2020 to 25th of March 2020? If yes, then could you please provide a list of these care homes/nursing homes and the dates they had the outbreaks.

The COVID-19 Infection Survey is a household survey that estimates the number of people testing positive for infection and antibodies in the UK. Our statistics refer to individuals in the community, by which we mean private households. These figures exclude infections reported in hospitals, care homes or other institutional settings. As such, we do not hold data on the request you have placed. Your request may be better placed with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and a query can be logged here.
