Please provide the figures for all the people who have died in England within 28 days of a Covid vaccination shot (either first, second or booster) from 1st January 2021, up to and including the most recent date available?

We published weekly counts of deaths by vaccination status, which can be accessed via the following link: Deaths involving COVID-19 by Vaccination Status, England: deaths occurring between 2 January and 31 October 2021. This publication provides deaths within and exceeding 21 days of the COVID-19 vaccination, as this is the time that the vaccine is considered to be most effective.
Our next publication will also include reference to Covid-19 booster jabs and this will be published in February 2022. Final release date will be announced on our Release Calendar.
As we have produced this analysis, we do not hold information showing deaths within 28 days after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination specifically. To fulfil this request, we would need to create further information using complex data linkage and analysis of the mortality data and vaccinations data from the National Immunisation Management System (NIMS) to the 2011 Census and GP register. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information to respond to requests. Therefore, the specific information requested is not held.
