I would like to request additional information on the publicly available dataset: Number of deaths in nursing homes notified to the Care Quality Commission, England.
Specifically, the number of COVID-19 related deaths occurring in Nursing Homes by 'Provider Name' in England starting from March 2020 to November 2020.

We do not hold the information in the requested format. The figures that would be involved to answer this request would be very small and could prove to be disclosive. The information would also disclose information about businesses. Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) renders it a criminal offence to release personal information. Personal information is any information held by the Board for statistical purposes that would identify an individual or a body corporate. This includes deceased individuals. As disclosure of the requested information is prohibited by another enactment, the information is considered exempt by Section 44 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
