I have been searching high and low for coronavirus data which includes ethnicity and cannot find anything apart from one dataset which was so high level (country I think) to be of little use. I need Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOA) data. Can you tell me where I can find this please?
I am trying to explain to residents of Tower Hamlets what is going on with the pandemic using data and visualisations. A key issue is the significant number of residents here who are of BAME origin. I want to explain to them why it is so important for them to take normal precautions and get vaccinated, but without the data I have nothing to work on. I cannot tell the data story.
If you could let me know if appropriate datasets exist I would be most grateful.

In order to provide you with COVID-19 deaths by MSOA and ethnicity, we would need to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
