The COVID-19 Infection Survey is a household survey that estimates the number of people testing positive for infection and for antibodies in the UK. Our statistics refer to individuals in the community, by which we mean private households. These figures exclude infections reported in hospitals, care homes or other institutional settings.

Analysis on antibody levels has been carried out by our academic partners. This analysis can be found in the respective academic articles on antibody response to natural infection and antibody response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines.

Further information on our methods on antibodies and vaccinations can be found in our methods article and study protocol.
