Thank you for your freedom of information request regarding passports held by country of birth.
On 2 November 2022, ONS released the following publication: International migration, England and Wales: Census 2021.
This provides detailed information on passports held and country of birth. We also released earlier this year, the ‘Create a custom dataset’ tool which enables users to make their own datasets combining variables from all census topics.
The most detailed passports held variable (in both releases) includes 52 separate categories (countries), however unfortunately, these do not include those you have listed. As the data is not available in either the ready-made multivariate datasets or using the create a custom dataset tool, this information can be requested via our bespoke services route, where you can commission a table to your own specifications.
There is currently a short waiting list for the commissioned table service. Work on new requests will commence late October/ early November 2023. Please see the page linked above to download a copy of the order form which details the scale of charges for this service.
On receipt of your completed order form, you will be added to the waiting list. Please note that any table commissioned will have to pass our strict statistical disclosure control process to ensure there is no risk of disclosure of personal information in the table.
