The President of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), Dr Ola Awad, was in London on 27 September 2022 to attend the 27th meeting of the United Nations High Level Group on Partnership, Coordination and Capacity Building ("the HLG-PCCB"). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ONS and PCBS was done in the margins of that event and at no additional cost to ONS / UKSA.

Funding for 8 members of the High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-Building for statistics (HLG-PCCB) from low- and middle-income countries, including the Director General of PCBS, was provided through the UKSA's Official Development Assistance (ODA) budget. The cost of the President of PCBS attending the whole event (flight and hotel) was £1,183.
