You asked
I would like statistics on the crime of “contact child sexual abuse”, both type 1 and type 2.
I would also like statistics on the race and/or religion of the perpetrators from 2010 to present.

Thank you for your request.
We hold data about the aggregate number of offences recorded by the police. This data is collated according to the Home Office Counting Rules which do not allow us to distinguish between sexual offences at the level of detail you require. Additionally, the data does not provide any information in relation to offenders.
Data which relates to details of offenders by offence type is held by the Ministry of Justice. They can be contacted via: statistics.enquiries@justice.gsi.gov.uk. Data about individuals who have been prosecuted for offences are held by the Crown Prosecution Service. They can be contacted via enquiries@cps.gov.uk.
Whilst some information may be available from the above, these organisations may not have data that can be disaggregated into ‘type 1 and type 2 contact sexual abuse offences’ specifically.
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection command (CEOP), part of the National Crime Agency, have previously produced some data relating to contact sexual abuse (type 1 and type 2). CEOP published a study in 2013 which was based on information provided directly from individual police forces. The National Crime Agency can be contacted at: communication@nca.x.gsi.gov.uk.
