I would like to request statistical data and records in regarding child injuries and accidents, reported by nurseries or GP and hospitals, including the following data:

  • For period 2004 - 2014 (or the latest year available)

  • For children aged 3 to 5 years old

  • Analyses by child gender

  • Analyses by country (England, Wales, Scotland & N. Ireland)

  • Who reported injury / accident (nursery, school, parents, GP or hospital)

  • Cause of accident (falls, foreign body penetration, poisoning, swallowing, play etc)

  • Type of injury or accident (broken bones, contusion, cuts, external /internal bleeding etc.)

  • Result of injury / accident (death, disability, fully recovered
