Thank you for your request.

We hold all the overtime data required to enable a response to your Freedom of Information request.

We had a record response to Census 2021 and, at the heart of the design, were a raft of interventions to encourage and support questionnaire completion. These included, but were not limited to, the roles of community engagement staff and field officers. All steps taken will ultimately ensure that census statistics, which inform the planning of local and national services, will be the best possible for every area.

Please see the attached table titled "4126 overtime payroll data summary", which shows a count of the number of claims for overtime for each of the weeks specified, by region, split into the 3 roles as per your request. The first row of each table also shows the total count of the role for each region.

Please note that, for Team Leaders, the first week of employment (onboarding) was the week commencing 15th February. We have supplied the data for that week and the following weeks up to 21st March 2021.
