Census brand logos

You asked

I would like to find, have access to and be shown each logo used for each census back to the earliest possible starting point if possible, if a brand logo was designed for it. This should be in a similar vain to, for example, the 2021 census brand logo or the 1991 census logo here.

Please find in the associated download "Census Logos.pdf" copies of the logos from 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021. We have conducted a search of our digital archives and these are the only logos we have in digital format. 

We have also conducted a manual search of our census archive material held in our stores and found that the census return papers do not contain a logo for dates prior to 1991, just the standard crown symbol. There may have been logos on our marketing materials for dates prior to 1991 but the retention period for copies of marketing materials is 25 years and so we no longer have copies of these materials.
