I would like to obtain the following information please, in accordance with most recent information in each case:

1. How many children with a Child Arrangements Order in place, die annually in the UK?

2. How does this compare to death rates in children without CAO in place?

3. How many shared care COA are in place where concerns of abuse have been raised by Mothers.

4. How many shared care COA are in place where concerns of abuse have been raised by Fathers?

5. How many shared care orders are put in place by the Judge where Social Services have recommended residency for the mother?

6. How many shared care orders are put in place by the Judge where Cafcass have recommended residency for the mother?

7. How many shared care orders are in place where Fathers have been charged with domestic abuse or coercive control?

8. How many charges care orders are in place where the mother has been charged with Domestic Abuse or Coercive control?

9. How many shared care orders are put in place where the mother has a restraining order against the father in place?

Unfortunately, we do not hold the information requested.

We do however, hold information on children who were the subject of a child protection plan (CPP) in our child abuse compendium. This information comes from the Department for Education: Statistics: children in need and child protection.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) also hold information on the number of Child Arrangement Orders applied for in public and private law made in Family courts in Tables 3 and 4 of the Family Court Statistics Quarterly: April to June 2022 tables.
