I would like the statistics for

  1. The number of care order applications made per 10,000 children for each local authority in the UK

  2. The number of children per 10,000 that are removed from there homes without parental consent for each local authority in the UK

The information requested is not held by the Office for National Statistics.

We are not sure who would hold this information but it may be worth contacting the Health and Social Care Information Centre and the Department for Education to see what they are able to supply.
