Care home deaths in Camden and Islington

1. The number of deaths that occurred specifically between the dates of from December 2019-September 4th 2020 that occurred specifically in Shaw Health Care Facilities in the London Borough of Camden

and

2. All deaths that occurred in Care home facilities in the London Borough of Camden and Islington

We are responsible for the production of mortality statistics for England and Wales.

Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide information regarding Shaw Health Care Facilities in Camden, as we do not hold data at this granular level.

However, care home deaths are included in the following two weekly death outputs: Death registrations and occurrences by local authority and health board and Number of deaths in care homes notified to the Care Quality Commission, England.

These publications are updated every Tuesday. These datasets show provisional mortality statistics by all causes and COVID-19 at local authority level. They also show death data by place of occurrence.

Please note: These datasets were produced in the response to COVID-19. Therefore, we have not produced the requested figures prior to 2020 and consider this information not held. To provide December 2019 we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create a bespoke analysis for you. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests.
