You asked
How many young people under the age of 30 with a British passport are currently, or still are, living outside the country for a period of longer than 2 months. I'd like to know the figures each year from 1990 to present.

Thank you for your request.
We collect data about immigration and emigration via our International Passenger Survey (IPS), the survey results are primarily used to measure the impact of travel expenditure on the UK economy and provide information about international tourism and how it has changed over time, more details can be found at International Passenger Survey, IPS.
Unfortunately, this data does not allow us to estimate how many 'young people' who hold a British passport had emigrated from the UK for a period of longer than 2 months. Therefore, unfortunately, the requested information is not held.
The Home Office may be better placed to assist with your request, as they produce migration statistics, accessible via the following link: Home Office Migration Statistics.
