I would like to request the number of baby girls registered with the first name “Bellatrix” in England and Wales in 2011.

The 2011 edition of our Baby names for girls in England and Wales dataset holds all names with a count of three or more in Table 6. The name Bellatrix does not appear in this table as it does not meet the threshold for publication.
We do not provide numbers of names with a count of three or less in total within England and Wales. These figures have been redacted in order to protect the confidentiality of individuals. This is consistent with the disclosure control methodology used for births and with Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA), which renders the disclosure of information held by the Statistics Board for statistical purposes that would identify an individual or a body corporate an offence.
As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individual businesses or persons can be identified, we find that Section 44(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies.
