Please provide the following data:

  • The average age of a females dying from/with Covid-19

  • The average age of a males dying from/with Covid-19

Although we have not published COVID-19 deaths by average age of death, the figures are available by 5-year age groups in the following publication: provisional weekly deaths in England and Wales.

From this, the mean average age can be calculated for the week of your choice, instructions explaining how to do this are available in a previous FOI response, available via the following link: Mean average age for those who have died from COVID-19.
