FOI REF: FOI/2023/4986

You asked

Do you have any statistics on which dates in 2021 and 2022 were the most antisocial behaviour reports recorded nationally?

We said

Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately we do not hold the data you have requested.

We publish data on antisocial behaviour based on two sets of crime statistics: the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) which is a victimisation survey, and police recorded crime data.

The most recent CSEW data we have published on antisocial behaviour can be found in Worksheet F19 and F20 of the Other related tables which was published alongside our quarterly publication Crime in England and Wales: year ending September 2022. However these are yearly estimates and do not show specific dates.

We have published police recorded crime data on antisocial behaviour in Table F21 and F22 of the Other related tables, and in the Police Force Area data tables which are also split up by year. Police recorded crime data is provided to us by the Home Office who may be able to assist you further. They can be contacted at CrimeandPoliceStats@homeoffice.gov.uk.

If you would like to explore police recorded crime data on antisocial behaviour incidents yourself, you can do so at https://data.police.uk/data.

If you have any other questions in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us at CrimeStatistics@ons.gov.uk.
