You asked
Before 2016 I was able to find, view and download spreadsheets on annual mortality statistics in England (or England and Wales) from the ONS website. The spreadsheets included a section where number of deaths were reported in specific categories relating to the ICD code for the illness/disease that was attributed to death.
Recently I have only been able to find spreadsheets of weekly reports (by week number) but are not very detailed and do not breakdown into ICD categories.
Can you tell me if the ONS still formulates an annual report on deaths reported in an excel spreadsheet form which includes, number of deaths broken down into each category of the ICD Code given?
