You asked

  1. The number of ambulance callouts to school premises in England, broken down:

    • By calendar year and/or month
    • By region or ambulance trust
    • For the period January 2020 to the most recent available date

  2. For the above, please include (if recorded):

    • Primary reason or incident type, specifically including:
      • Drug poisoning / drug-related illness
      • Suspected vaping-related illness
    • Any categorisation or coding used in your call logging system that corresponds to these causes

  3. If it is not possible to identify whether a callout occurred at a school, please confirm whether:

    • Callout locations are logged with enough detail to identify region
    • Call reasons are classified in a way that identifies drug poisoning or vaping-related incidents
