The number of alcohol related deaths in England and Wales is published as part of our annual Statistical Bulletin 'Alcohol related deaths in the United Kingdom'. This bulletin can be downloaded from the ONS website using this link.
The most recent available data is for deaths registered in 2012. Data for 2013 will be published on 11th February 2015 and will be available using the link above.
Figures for local authorities were published as an ad-hoc request in March 2014 and can be downloaded from the ONS website using the following link (ref 002452).
Figures for parliamentary constituencies are not currently available and are likely to be subject to disclosure control. If you would like to request a data extract, please contact the Mortality Analysis team directly (mortality@ons.gov.uk) to discuss your requirements and obtain a cost estimate.
Please note that special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order from the mortality analysis team (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs, where appropriate), and you do not need to make a Freedom of Information request.
