You asked
I would like to request some data on Accommodation & Foodservice in the UK *(SIC07 section letter: I, Division: 55/56)*. Are these data available?
- Number of establishments
- Revenue (current price or integrating inflation)
The time frame: in priority 2012-2022, and ideally, if you have them, from 1980 and forecast till 2026.
I am also looking for the UK inflation rate from 2012 to 2028 (forecast).

Thank you for your Freedom of Information requesting the number of establishments and revenue of businesses from 2012 to 2022.
For information, ONS produce an annual publication called UK Business: Activity, size and location. This publication breaks down the number of UK Businesses (registered for VAT and/or PAYE) by geography, employment size-band, industry and legal status. It is created using an extract of the Inter Departmental Business Register (IDBR) taken on 11 March 2022.
