I request 2024 quarterly numbers of live births, stillbirths, stillbirth rates at all gestations, and stillbirth rates at term (<37 weeks) broken down by region, and also separately broken down by Trust if ONS has this data.

We publish Quarterly births in England and Wales, provisional - Office for National Statistics which provides quarterly live births, stillbirths, maternities and stillbirth rates by gestational age, age of mother, ethnicity, and area deprivation, for England and Wales.
Final data for Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar), Quarter 2 (Apr to June), Quarter 3 (July to Sept) is available in the quarterly publication with Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) published in our annual Births in England and Wales.
We do not hold data by NHS Trust. However, we can offer a bespoke output by Integrated Care System (ICS) formerly known as Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
If you would like to commission this analysis, this can be requested using our bespoke pathway. Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order via our bespoke services route. These services are subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs in line with the ONS Charging Policy.
As some of the information requested is reasonably accessible via another route, Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies.
