Can you please update the original mortality data that was made in the following link, including additional data up to the current period?

The referenced publication is a user requested dataset released under our Open Data Policy. It is not part of the ONS publication schedule and was a specific request by a customer.
However, we do have 2021 and 2022 provisional monthly rates are available in our Monthly Mortality analysis .
The Deaths Registered Series will be published in July 2022 which will include deaths, age standardised mortality rates and crude mortality rate for 2021. This is published in July to allow the inclusion of late registrations, which are deaths which have been referred for coroner investigation.
If this does not meet your needs, we can create this data for you as a special extract and tabulation. This would be a user requested data request, which is subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resource, and agreement to costs.
Such enquiries would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and should be made to the Health Analysis and Life Events customer Services team on Health.Data@ons.gov.uk.
