The provisional average house price in Bath and North East Somerset in January 2025 was £409,000. This was slightly higher than the average of £403,000 in January 2024 (revised), a 1.5% rise.

Across the South West, the average house price in January 2025 was £307,000, which was more than a year earlier (£299,000).

This meant that, in January 2025, Bath and North East Somerset had the second highest average house price in the South West.

Across Great Britain, a home sold for an average of £271,000 in January 2025, which was up from the January 2024 average of £259,000.

In the year to January 2025, the average price for semi-detached properties in Bath and North East Somerset rose by 2.6%, while the average price for detached properties and flats stayed around the same over the year.

For each property type, average prices as of January 2025 in Bath and North East Somerset were:
