UK perspectives, part 1: 2016
Crynodeb
In 2014 the Government spent £798 billion but an area of spending that has been of particular interest is the money the UK pays to the European Union (EU). The UK contribution to the EU budget article explores the contributions we make to the EU budget, what we get back, and how this has changed over time. The UK Trade article examines the importance of trade with and beyond the EU for the UK. It shines a light on which countries the UK trades with inside and outside the EU and also the value of that trade. In addition we have a range of articles, updated from last year’s publication, looking at various aspects of UK life.
